Refuel in the Rockies is a 3 day leadership coaching event run by leaderTreks. Refuel in the rockies is a great way for youth pastors and youth workers to spend some quality time relaxing and refueling in the rockies.

Come refuel in the rockies.Spend 3 days with a small group of youth workers, facing down the leadership challenges of youth ministry. Doug Franklin, the president of LeaderTreks will lead you through a time of leadership training, personal assessments, intentional coaching, and soul care.The price includes housing in a beautiful condo overlooking Breckenridge, all meals except one dinner, and everything you need to refuel during your time in the Rockies.

Who should attend this event?

Full time youth workers who want to develop their leadership skills. This event is designed with you in mind and we want to use this time to give you an chance to learn, grow, and refuel.

Wednesday

  • Arrive on site between 2 and 4:30.

Thursday

  • Breakfast Together
  • Session 2: Refueling Spiritually and Life Mapping
  • Session 3: Leading Yourself – how serving in your strengths can grow your confidence and influence.
  • Lunch together
  • Afternoon of relaxing and activities
  • Dinner out

Friday

  • Breakfast Together
  • Session 4: Refueling Spiritually and Life Mapping
  • Session 5: Leading Up – How to effectively lead those that are older than you; from parents, to pastors, to volunteers.

A personal note from Doug

I really want your time in the rockies to be fruitful. I know how much time you spend building into your adult volunteers and into your students. I wanted to create a small and personal conference that will allow you to get your individual coaching needs met. Learn, laugh, and relax. Come refuel in the rockies.

Cost

We want to keep the cost low so we priced this event at $169. This covers all training expenses during the event, including housing, and all meals except one dinner. The cost for travel is not included.

Where

We will be staying at Wildernest Lodging in Silverthorne, CO, just minutes away from Breckenridge. The address is: 204 Wildernest Road, Silverthorne, CO 8049. If you are flying in, you can rent a car in Denver and drive to Wildernest. Plan on about a 1 to 1.5 hour drive to Wildernest from the airport.
