When you are casting vision, look into the face of your teammates, are they with you or do they not understand what you are shooting for? The face and the eyes tell you everything you need to know about your followers. If they avoid eye contract they are bored and feeling like they have heard it all before. If they are following you and their eyes are fixed on you, they are tracking with you. Two things to remember when you are casting vision:

1. Be Compelling
Never repeat yourself or tell the same story twice. Use words your followers have never heard you say before. Tell them why your doing what your doing and why it makes a difference. How is not that important, the results are. Tell them how your going to sacrifice and ask them to share in it with you.

2. Be Dangerous
Be a little over the top, people want to be part of something bigger than themselves which means you better be calling them to something that has never been done before. People also want to go an adventure. Spell out the cost and make it high.
