My Favorite Church Needs A Youth Pastor

Student Pastor Opening at Pawleys Island Community Church

By Doug Franklin June 18, 2024

I don’t ever do this but I love this church.

If you’re looking to serve students, this church has everything you’re looking for. It has strong leadership, great families, and resources to help you do effective ministry with students.

I’ve been involved at Pawley’s Island Community Church since the mid-1980s. I love the people at this church. I love how they do ministry and how they impact their community for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Families here are strong and students are spiritually hungry. The pastoral staff is highly supportive, and the last youth pastor was there over seven years. The senior pastor is a dynamic leader, and the executive pastor is pretty much the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. This is a great church.

They are looking for someone who will come in and build a team of volunteers that want to help students grow in their walk with Christ. They are not looking for a one-man-show. They want a leader who is confident, understands students and can grow the ministry for the long-haul. You will need a track recorded of building a healthy ministry.

This church deserves a good youth worker. It has everything you need to flourish in youth ministry. If you’ve ever felt a call to serve students that are in a beach community, because there are challenges to serving students in a beach community, you’ve got to check out this job opening.

LeaderTreks has been serving the community of Pawleys Island for over 30 years and we have partnered with Pawleys Island Community Church to serve people in need. These folks have a big heart.

If you’re looking for a healthy church with healthy leaders, you will want to look over the job description and send Don Williams your resume.

If I can be of any help please let me know, I would love to answers your questions. Call us or send me an email at doug@leadertreks.com.
