ABOUT ME
I grew up on a dairy farm in northern Michigan and still live in the same community. I am a youth ministry volunteer at my church, and I absolutely love teenagers and college students. Traveling is something I can’t get enough of, and I have been on several international mission trips, as well as many domestic ones. I also love camping and road trips. Some of my favorite fun things are reading (mysteries, history/biography, and classics are some of my favorites), playing violin, playing hockey, and having deep conversations with my friends. I am also a lifetime, bleed-blue, Detroit Lions fan.

WHY DO YOU LOVE STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT?
I believe that all students are leaders—but where are they leading? Having the opportunity to guide their growth and help to point them toward Jesus so that their peers and others who are following them are also pointed to Jesus is such a privilege. Whether it’s during late-night conversations or serving together on a mission trip, seeing students rise up and lead others toward Christ is so satisfying.
