DNow & Disciple Now Weekends

DNow, short for Disciple Now, is a focused discipleship experience where students gather for biblical teaching, small groups, worship, activities, and intentional spiritual growth.

2. What is a DNow weekend?

A DNow weekend gives students concentrated time to grow in their faith through biblical teaching, small groups, worship, relationships, and shared experiences. Churches often use DNow weekends to create space for students to step away from their normal routines and focus on their relationship with God.

3. Does LeaderTreks offer DNow curriculum?

Yes. LeaderTreks offers DNow studies designed to help youth ministries build a discipleship weekend around a central biblical theme. Each study helps students engage Scripture, have meaningful conversations, and take a next step in their faith.

4. How do I choose the right DNow study?

Start by considering where your students are spiritually, what they’re currently experiencing, and where you want them to grow. LeaderTreks offers DNow studies around a variety of biblical themes, giving you options to find a study that connects with your students and ministry goals.

5. How do I plan a DNow weekend?

Start by defining the purpose of your weekend, choosing your DNow curriculum, building a schedule, recruiting leaders, organizing small groups, communicating with parents, and preparing your teaching and worship experiences.

6. What comes with a LeaderTreks DNow study?

LeaderTreks DNow studies provide a complete toolkit for planning and leading your event. Resources include large- and small-group lessons, an interactive student book, editable files and leader notes, intro and closing videos, PowerPoint slides and background loops, leader training materials, planning tools, forms, and other event resources. Materials are delivered online for easy access.

Optional add-ons, including student T-shirts and follow-up journals, are also available.

7. Can I use a LeaderTreks DNow study for a retreat?

Yes. LeaderTreks DNow studies are flexible and can be used for a traditional DNow weekend, a retreat, or even a short-term series. The materials can be customized to fit your group size, setting, and schedule.

Youth Mission Trips

Yes. LeaderTreks offers mission trips designed specifically for youth ministries and student groups. Trips combine meaningful service and ministry with intentional discipleship and leadership development.

LeaderTreks offers youth mission trips in a variety of locations and ministry environments across the United States. Ministry opportunities vary by location, giving groups options based on their students and ministry goals.

3. What do students do on a LeaderTreks mission trip?

Students participate in meaningful hands-on and relational ministry based on the trip and community. This can include service projects, home repair, children’s ministry, senior care, food distribution, community outreach, evangelism, and other ministry opportunities. Throughout the week, students also participate in Bible study, prayer, team evaluation, leadership development, and intentional discipleship.

4. How does LeaderTreks develop student leaders during mission trips?

LeaderTreks builds leadership development into the entire mission trip experience by giving students real responsibility and ownership. Depending on the trip, students may lead worksites, ministry activities, teammates, cooking and cleaning teams, or even portions of the trip itself. LeaderTreks staff coach and guide students as they make decisions, solve problems, evaluate their team, serve others, and grow as leaders.

LeaderTreks mission trips are designed for youth groups and student ministry teams. Trip options vary in leadership level and experience, from trips led by adult leaders to more challenging experiences where students take greater ownership and leadership throughout the week.

7. Where do students stay during LeaderTreks mission trips?

Housing varies by mission trip location. LeaderTreks provides housing for your team as part of the trip, and each location page includes a Logistics section with details about where teams stay and what to expect at that specific site.

8. What’s included in the cost of a LeaderTreks mission trip?

A LeaderTreks mission trip includes nearly everything your team needs, including housing, meals, construction materials and tools, ministry supplies, a customized Trip Book for each student, and experienced LeaderTreks staff.

Each trip also includes a 4-session pre-trip study, a customized Trip Book with Bible study methods, a prayer journal and growth journal, and a 4-session post-trip study to help students continue living on mission after the trip.

Transportation to and from the trip, dinner on the final evening, and any VBS materials needed by your team are additional costs.

LeaderTreks offers youth Bible studies covering Scripture, spiritual growth, identity, relationships, discipleship, leadership, and other topics relevant to teenagers. Options include both shorter studies and year-long resources for building intentional discipleship throughout the ministry year.

3. How can I help students go deeper in Bible study?

Help students move beyond simply hearing biblical information by teaching them how to engage Scripture for themselves. Encourage students to ask meaningful questions, understand what the Bible says, apply what they’re learning, and develop consistent habits of spending time in God’s Word.

4. How do leadership and discipleship work together?

Yes. LeaderTreks offers training and resources to help youth workers equip volunteers to disciple students, build meaningful relationships, lead effectively, and better understand their role in youth ministry.

2. How can I better train my youth ministry volunteers?

Start by making sure volunteers understand your ministry’s purpose and their role in it. Effective training should equip them to build relationships with students, lead small groups, communicate well, understand expectations, and intentionally disciple students.

Orders, Downloads & Accounts

How does a customer access a digital resource after purchasing it?

All of the digital content is downloadable through your account immediately after purchase. Go to your My Account using the link at the top right of your screen, then choose Downloads from the left menu to access your content. From any page, you can also click the User icon at the top right of your screen and choose Downloads from the dropdown menu.

What should a customer do if they purchased a resource but can’t find their download?

First, visit Downloads in your account. Your digital purchases should appear immediately after purchase. If you can’t find your purchased resources, view your Orders to make sure your order has been processed correctly. Contact us if you are still having trouble accessing your resources or if you have any questions.

Can customers download a LeaderTreks purchase more than once?

Yes. Once you’ve purchased a digital resource you can download it anytime by visiting your Downloads.

Can purchased LeaderTreks curriculum be shared with volunteer leaders?

The content is meant to be used solely within the church/organization that purchased it.

Can churches print copies of LeaderTreks curriculum for their students?

Most digital resources are designed to be printed and shared with your students and others in your church/organization. Physical resources cannot be copied. Please purchase as many copies of books, journals, or assessments as you need for your ministry. See our Terms & Conditions for detailed information.

Do LeaderTreks digital resources or download links expire?

Digital resources that you have purchased are 100% yours. Our download links may be updated occasionally as we make sure our resources are up-to-date. Visiting Downloads in your account to view the most up-to-date links. Downloading and storing digital resources in your personal system is the best way to guarantee future access.

How does a customer access their LeaderTreks account?

Go to your My Account using the link at the top right of your screen, then choose Downloads from the left menu to access your content. From any page, you can also click the User icon at the top right of your screen and choose Dashboard from the dropdown menu.

Does LeaderTreks currently ship physical resources?

Yes! All orders placed by 12pm CT are shipped the same day.

How long does LeaderTreks shipping typically take?

Orders received by 12pm CT will be processed and shipped the same day. We offer multiple shipping methods. Depending on your shipping address, the estimated delivery date will be updated in real time in your cart and on the checkout page. See below for a list of our shipping options and average estimated delivery times.

What is LeaderTreks’ current return/refund policy for physical products?

Packages that are unopened or in a re-sealable condition may be shipped back to us with a copy of the packing slip within 30 days of the original purchase. Customer is responsible for all shipping fees on returned items unless the item purchased is defective. Your refund (minus original shipping costs) will be credited back to your credit card once the returned products have been received in good condition.

Returns/refunds are not allowed on DNow Studies.

Shipping Costs will not be refunded due to shipper (UPS, USPS) delays.
