Have you ever noticed that middle schoolers tend to run in packs? They spend time in groups and start to talk and act like the people they hang out with. This pack mentality bleeds into their spiritual lives.

Dive is a year-long curriculum (48 lessons) examining the fundamental aspects needed for developing a growing relationship with Jesus. Fighting off temptation, finding Christ-centered community, and embracing a God-given identity are among the topics students will explore as they learn to use God’s Word to navigate their everyday lives. Dive is designed to equip students with essential tools for an ever-maturing and enduring journey of faith in Christ.

Recommended Structure

In Dive, we’ve included one four-lesson series for each month of the calendar year. Depending on your schedule, you can start anywhere, skip a lesson, or base your sequence on the needs of your group.

Basic Training

A 4-week series on rooting your identity in Christ. Our new identity in Christ is not just a label—it affects every part of us and changes the way we live.

September

Multiply

A 4-week series on what NOT to do when God calls you. Learning from the prophet Jonah's experience, we are called to be obedient to God and when we don’t things can get messy quick.

October

Battleground

A 4-week series on unbelievably heroic stories from scripture. This series focuses on what it means to be a godly hero. God has invited us to be part of his story, and it’s our faith, obedience, and trust in him that makes us truly heroic.

November

Who I'm Not

A 4-week series on living from the inside out. Christ-like character comes from God’s work in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. The third lesson, "Thankful", is perfect for Thanksgiving.

December

The Christmas Story

A 4-week series about waiting. This advent/Christmas series encourages us to celebrate that God has already fulfilled his many promises and to eagerly await when God will finally and fully bring his Kingdom to earth.

January

Counting the Cost

A 4-week series on striving after God. A relationship with God changes the way we live. The more we pursue Jesus, the more we’ll desire the things of God and stop chasing after the world.

February

More than Me

A 4-week series on connecting with God no matter what we're feeling. As students look at four different types of Psalms, they’ll learn to handle faith’s ups and downs by putting their trust in God, no matter the circumstance.

March

I Doubt It

A 4-week series leading up to the resurrection. This series will look at some of the key events during the week leading up to the Resurrection and what we learn about Jesus through those events.

Easter

A 4-week series from the last words of a dying man. This series goes through the book of 2 Timothy to see what Paul felt was crucial for Timothy to know about being committed to Christ and fighting the good fight of faith until the very end.

The Crew

A 4-week series on living a life blessed by God. This series starts with different Beatitudes, then focuses on other Bible characters as case studies to dig deeper into living a blessed life.

June

Wait! What?

A 4-week series about serving God from behind the scenes. This series looks at four people who took a supporting role and faithfully obeyed God, without needing much reward or recognition.

July

Heaven and HEll

A 4-week series on people who followed God through the wilderness. This series challenges students to identify their own wilderness seasons, particularly when it comes to doubt, difficulty, and not "feeling it" with their faith.
