What to Expect on Your Florence Trip
Trip Program
Mission Ready
Students will grow as leaders by taking ownership of real ministry. Through construction projects and student-led outreach opportunities like VBS, sports camps, or senior care ministries, they’ll discover what it means to serve others with purpose. As they plan, lead, and evaluate ministry together, students will gain the confidence to lead now while seeing how God can use their gifts to advance His Kingdom.

Ministry Info
Your team will live in the community they are serving by staying at a local church. Through that church partnership and various other ministries, teams will come to understand the real needs of the community through the eyes of those who live there. The ministry partners we work with are established and provide real solutions to the needs of their community.
Each morning, students will serve on meaningful construction projects, helping homeowners with much-needed repairs. In the afternoons, they’ll lead a Kids Ministry through games, Bible lessons, and activities, building relationships while sharing the love of Christ.

The Florence host site is located in a semi-rural area about an hour from the beach, all ministries take place in and around the Florence community.

On Friday, teams will wrap up the week with an adventure day exploring the area’s beautiful beaches—a chance to celebrate all God has done and strengthen friendships before heading home.
Each ministry we work with has their own safety protocols that you will be apprised of when you arrive, and LeaderTreks staff will also inform you of any specific safety information that the host church has.
