Georgetown, SC
This is one of the state's oldest and most charming coastal communities, rich in history and natural beauty. Yet beyond its scenic waterfront, many neighborhoods face poverty, broken families, homes in need of repair, and a deep need for the hope of the Gospel. It's a community where students can make a tangible difference through compassionate service while growing as leaders and disciples of Christ.
Expand Your Neighborhood In Georgetown
Beyond Georgetown's historic waterfront, many families struggle with poverty and homes in need of repair. Your team will serve by building wheelchair ramps, repairing porches, fixing fences, and meeting practical needs for elderly homeowners and families. Every project is an opportunity to share the love of Christ through hands-on service.
Partner with a local church to serve residents at a senior care home through meaningful relationships, encouragement, and the love of Christ. Your team will bring hope, joy, and the Gospel to seniors who are often overlooked and lonely.
Why We Love Serving Jesus In This Neighborhood
We love serving here—because every conversation, every home repair, and every act of kindness reminds people that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Ministry Info
Your team will live in the community they are serving by staying at a local church. Through that church partnership and various other ministries, teams will come to understand the real needs of the community through the eyes of those who live there. The ministry partners we work with are established and provide real solutions to the needs of their community.
Students will make a tangible impact by serving on meaningful work projects throughout the week. They’ll help build ramps and decks in a mobile home community, work in a city-wide community garden that provides food for families in need, and serve people experiencing poverty. As they work, students will learn what it means to lead through service. In the afternoons, they’ll build relationships through a senior adult VBS, encouraging and serving older adults with games, activities, and conversations.
