Character is a foundation of leadership. If you want to have any influence in people’s lives, you must understand the importance of character. This is how we often start teaching leadership; we focus on character as the starting line of leadership. But when you think about it, its character over the long-haul that makes great leaders. When a leader has shown character over the ups and downs of leading a team or organization, we place them in a special category of greatness. Its character day in and day out; or as some might say, its character stupid!
