I Owe You God

The license plate on a car in my office parking lot read “I Owe You God.” The plate really stood out to me. At first I was thinking, “yes God, I owe you so much.” But then I realized the car was parked in a lot associated with a ministry building next to the LeaderTreks building. It dawned on me that I don’t owe God anything, for I could never pay him back for what he has done for me. If I tried my redemption would be meaningless. That’s the great part, because I don’t HAVE to serve God in ministry. I get to serve God in ministry.
