UPS Jesus

By Doug Franklin September 17, 2009

I was in the mall yesterday, to get my eyes checked; I am getting old. As I was walking through the maze of stores and kiosks I heard someone yelling, “Dougie, Dougie”…. I turned to see my UPS man Louis yelling my name and pulling a cart of boxes (he is one of two people who has ever called me Dougie), As we met, he dropped the handle of the cart and gave me the biggest hug you can image. He quickly asked about everyone in the office and told me how much he loves serving us. As I walked away, I started to think about the first time I am going to meet Jesus.  You know that real moment in time when we will come face-to-face with our savior. I want it to be like meeting Louis in the mall, so real, so authentic.
