Freebie: Plug-In Youth Workers Assessment

By Doug Franklin October 16, 2013

So you have an adult come up to you at church one morning and say, “I want to help out in the youth ministry, what can I do?” How do you respond? Let’s face it, you know there are a hundred places that you could use some help. Small groups, Extra Curricular Events, Sunday School, Mentoring Programs – volunteers are essential to making these things happen! But how do you know where is best to plug this person in? How do you make sure you are using their gifts to not only benefit the ministry but them personally as well?

It is for these very situations that this assessment was created. When you are faced with that adult volunteer you just don’t know where to put, or someone new who is unsure of how they want to serve – pull this sheet out! Volunteers will go through a series of questions that will help them identify their passions and you discover where best to place them in your ministry. You will feel better supported and your volunteers will feel better equipped to serve if they are plugged into a ministry role that fits with their giftings. This assessment will benefit you, your volunteers, and your ministry by helping the body of Christ come together to better serve and disciple the next generation of leaders.
