Getting Back to the Start

As the start of yet another year in youth ministry rolls around, many of you may be wondering about whether your heart for youth ministry is still there. After all the long hours, and the often less than stellar pay, it can take a toll on you. If and when these thoughts begin to come and you wonder about whether or not you can go on, remember to get back to the start. What was it that made you fall in love with youth ministry? Was it the thought of developing amazing relationships with students or helping unleash volunteer’s hearts for working with students? Whatever it was, it made you passionate, and passion is needed in youth ministry.
