Half-Time

By Doug Franklin December 9, 2009

It’s half-time in youth ministry school calendar; time to evaluate the year and how effective your ministry has been to date. To do this effectively you will need your goals from August handy. Start by reviewing your goals. Many of you have been doing this each week throughout the fall so you don’t need to review them, but if you haven’t look them over recently, take a few minutes to review. Now ask yourself the following three questions:

  1. What have we done well?
  2. What do we need to improve on?
  3. What are three actions steps we need to take to reach our goals by June?

It’s good if you do this activity with your adult volunteers. It will help them understand how important these goals are to you and the ministry.
