Leadership 360

When we lead in youth ministry our leadership is a bit different. We just don’t lead from the top down. We do lead down but we also lead up and sideways. Think about this for a minute. We lead students but we also lead our adult volunteers, parents and church staff. When we think about leadership we just can’t think about leading students we have to think about creative ways to lead everyone. To lead up we need humility and to lead sideways we need wisdom but often we use the same skill set with whoever we are working. This leads to disaster. Be wise and adjust your leadership depending on who you are leading.
