KENTUCKY

expand your neighborhood in KENTUCKY
About 20 miles outside of Hazard, Kentucky is the small town of Hindman. The local churches here care for some of the poorest people in America.

From yard clean-up to building fences and everything in-between, your students will have the opportunity to serve people in their most-basic need—their homes.

Coming alongside local pastors and churches ensures that ministry in these communities continues long after the trip. Groups may also be engage in a relational outreach program at local churches or in local neighborhoods.

Why we love serving jesus in this neighborhood
Although it’s located in one of the poorest counties in the U.S., Manchester is called the “city of hope.” We love helping our ministry partners provide food and clothing (Isaiah 58:7) to families in the hollers.
