expand your neighborhood in kansas city

Kansas City is a hub for entertainment, great food, and a thriving sports culture. But almost 20% of its residents live below the poverty line.

Through local partnerships, your students will learn how the church is responding to end the cycle of poverty in very real ways.

Your team will serve in a variety of local ministries, ranging from a kids’ outreach ministry to a rescue mission.

Students will also get the opportunity to explore the city during our Adventure Race and take a canopy tour while completing a high ropes course.

Why we love serving jesus in this neighborhood

Urban areas face urban challenges. We love that we get to help our ministry partners meet the unique needs of the poor (Proverbs 14:31) in Kansas City.

Safety: low-contact trips

Safety is our number one priority. Throughout Summer 2020, our team led low-contact mission trips across the country. By making several adjustments to our programming, we allowed teams to serve while staying safe.
