Easy Is Not Better
Here at LeaderTreks we just finished an off-site meeting for our leadership team. Again I am reminded that taking the easy path looks good in the short run but never in the long run. Motivating our staff to tackle problems and navigate obstacles is the key to long-term success. The idea we need to make things easier for our followers to be motivated is completely wrong. Average people will do great things when they know their cause has purpose and their leaders are honest. I am amazed how people want a challenge, they want to be part of something bigger than themselves and we as leaders need to empower them. My focus everyday is to help our people go on a great adventure!
